Benefits offered for HNB Teen account

Place a monthly Standing Order to your child’s HNB Teen account.
- The Bank will protect the child at an instance of an unfortunate demise of the parent, and will continue the Standing Order until the child reaches the age of 18. (HNB Teen account holders below 16 years of age only will be eligible)

The minimum Standing Order value that would be covered is Rs. 1,000 per account per month.
The maximum Standing Order value that would be covered is Rs. 25,000 per account per month.
The maximum standing order value per parent would be Rs. 75,000 (for multiple accounts of same or different minors subject to aforesaid limits.)
HNB Singithi account / HNB Teen account has to be opened by the parent.
The Standing Order should be affected from the parent’s HNB account.

Maintain a minimum deposit of Rs. 25,000/- in your HNB Teen account for HNB Diri Daru Scholarships for O/L Examination

100 best performing HNB Teen account holders will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 at the GCE O/L , London O/L examination.

Maintain a minimum deposit of Rs. 35,000/- in your HNB Teen account for HNB Diri Daru Scholarships for A/L Examination

50 best performing HNB Teen account holders will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs.25,000 at the GCE A/L, London A/L examination. (Diri Daru Scholarship Scheme)
